About Permitted
Captain Greg Bogdan
I am originally from New Jersey where I started fishing at a
very young age. I worked on head boats and charter boats at
about 13 years old. My brother and I ran my fathers Bertram
as a charter boat while in high school. Fishing for Tuna,
Marlin and sharks. We would come to Singer Island every
year as a family to fish and dive.  Which is what brought me
to P.B.A.C., where I studied Marine Science. While in collage
I did night and weekend charters. I started running the
Permitted full time through the fall, winter and spring
months in 1992. I still travel up north to tournament fish in
the offshore canyons and to commercial fish for Blue fin
Tuna.

My main boat for charter is the Permitted. A Conch 27' with
an inboard diesel engine. Which allows you to walk around the
boat with ease while fishing. I can take a maximum of 6
people but 4 is best.  It is equip with many different types
of tackle. From big game for sharks, Marlin and swordfish to
ultra light tackle for Tarpon, Snook and Permit. For those of
you seeking a fly fishing experience. I have tackle for all
different species including sharks.
